I have a theory. If you have enough pets, and are American or British, one of them will be named "Buddy." I'll bet every rescuer has a  Buddy. This is real, hard science.

    So true. My grandmother has a bird named Buddy. Buddy sits on her shoulder all day :) It's really inspiring to see the love they have for each other.

    I've been taking care of two cats for the past month and I just call them both cat or kitty. They respond.
