Lovely Edj ,
ReplyDeleteThere is only one thing that is completely impossible : not to love you when we are seeing , hearing and feeling you ! ...
and i am sure that all people from satsang are ok with that !
yours sincerely ...

Dear Edji,
ReplyDeleteI recognized your teaching last night as being superbly brilliant. Your discovery of yourself as being an explorer gave a fresh perspective to the whole discussion of how inquiry alone is like a searching for something. Your teachings are more lucid in the fact that hunting the I is important for a while, but unless we also let go of that we will not discover the beauty and awe of the explorer who has no real agenda, no goal or expectations. Your discovery leads the mind from the 'observer is the observed' stance to the pure raw experience of witnessing which does not try to destroy the I but embrace it and include it.
I see more clearly how advaita and zen (sitting in front of a wall for a decade or two) may be beneficial for concentration and quieting the mind, but when the practicioner gets up and turns around she may experience there is more, so much more that some rishi you mentioned and you seem to be engaged in.
Your discourse on the closest feeling one can describe of the SELF as bliss AND sadness was like someone pointing to a bird perched in a tree that was there all along but I did not see until that other caused me to look for myself and notice it.
Plenty to absorb and not merely as entertainment. It felt more purposeful than that.
With Love and Gratitude,
Mike

Hm. Embracing. Including. Discovering endless layers of conciousness.
ReplyDeleteLook here. Look there. Endless distractions it seems to me ... can't help it.
Kathy
Yes Kathy,
DeleteLook without looking, see without trying to see. No distractions.
Love,
Mike
Yes Kathi,
DeleteEdji's discourse was about exploration, that's all. By embracing the good and bad, masculine/feminine, bliss, sadness polarities with humility and love might be quite freeing for some. Exploring with love.
Edji seems to invite us out of our comfort zone from conceptual thinking. If it goes against one's grain, wouldn't if be wise to not go into that exploration? To remain true to oneself seems very wise. I love that perhaps you may not be at that point of accepting the idea of exploration as I feel Edji often points to, that you do not see value in it?
I don't see Edji's teachings to be threatening, but challenging. Exploring the various "rooms in the mansion", as Edji says may be very effective for some.
The student comes to the teacher, not the other way around.
I love that Edji doesn't ask us to believe anything. I'm glad, because I don't know, just willing to explore some.
Peace and Happiness,
Mike
This teaching is really incredible : we only have to be very patient and loving with the painfully feelings or emotions which show their nose : not speaking or thinking about it but only wrapped it like a mother for her little child .and always , at a moment, that moves and love comes back again ! ...
ReplyDeleteWhen love is awaking in the heart and pouring over all the body as a delicious , warm and sweet presence in the veins, it makes the body transparent . And then , what about mind, memory, fear or sadness ?
Love and freedom are really the same .
And after a time i feel something in me is diggin more , deeper and i guess new obstructions will appear but i am no afraid what it is ...
Thank you very very much Edj ...
sylviane
Dear Sylviane,
DeleteYou are such a wonderful conduit of love. It's contagious. When I think of Edji during the day I have to admit it just feels happy! Actually, I lack the competence to describe it. Edji is a Great Friend to sentience and the energy just wants to pour out to others whenever I feel his presence. It' immense.
Your description of Love and freedom and not fear...yes.
With Love and Gratitude,
Mike
Nice, Sylviane. Je l'aime.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Matthew
Hi the Edj Family !!!
ReplyDeletewhat i am seeing when reading your posts it is we are all connected with the delicious love presence from Edj ...it is so good to share like we do and feel that love !
with you in the so beautiful Edj 's presence ...
sylviane
It's unbelieveable..After only one and a half months of daily reading the Nisargadatta Gita, doing the guided meditation and afterwards the falling backwards method (and of course self inquiry during the day)I already experience bliss and light engulfing me !
ReplyDeleteOne time the light was softly swinging me.
Love is all around. Thanks Ed, pranams to you and to the light of all lights.
This week i was really being conscious in the body , not only in the head as before , about what is disturbing us in the others is also in us and how we can change it ... i was in a car with friends and a boy who came in also made the quiet energy changed because he was very angry and feeling bad about something .
ReplyDeleteAfter a few seconds i could see how he affected every one of us .
So i was putting love in my heart , as i do when i am alone , wrapping in the Edj's presence and the anger dissapeared , The boy was saying about a moment he was better ... perhaps he was feeling that ! there was a great smoothness between us .
Another person was saying to me she did not want anymore to be with that guy because she was feeling very nervous by him !
