When I watched the Obama/Romney debate I was stunned. The first words out of Romeny's mouth were a lie. He said Obama misrepresented his position on tax cuts. There followed one lie after another. Obama just froze. I think he felt like I did: stunned and confused like having an unexpected full solar eclipse, or like the GOP had just adopted the Democratic platform as their own.
I was also shocked that the media did not immediately brand Romney as a liar, even after Romney's own campaign "called back" (rejected) several of Romney's "misstatements."
wow ed, interesting insight into obama's bizarre performance at the first debate. i think he had pre-planned to not cause any waves. but you're on to something too.
