This is an ecstatic Satsang. You can feel the white/blue light, bliss, and ecstatic power that gripped the Sangha throughout.
Just sit in a quiet place, relax as deep as you can, and feel the flow of truth that can catch you on fire if you relax and breathe it in.30 September 2020

The I Am Brahman State, Nisargadatta, and Power
16 September 2020
Nisargadatta begiles you with a created story about epistemology, who you know and how. Robert Adams and Ramana rely more on stories about what is, and how the universe works, such as the idea everything is predetermined, the world is illusory, and everything is unfolding as it should. If believed, you just give everything up, because you can't do anything to affect the world or even your life. That relaxation and emptiness begets spiritual states that take you close to enlightenment.

About a dozen of Robert's students had read Strouth's writing and contacted me for my undertnding and experience of Robert and his authenticity. I wrote this and added a verbal rejoinder here to answer all who want to kinow if Strouth was accurate. I posted this to answer any who ask.
An article is circulating on the Internet in the form of an apparent dialogue between an unnamed questioner and Steven Strouth. I assume the purported questioner is really Steven, not an independent third-party.
He claims he met Robert in 1985, four years before I met Robert. I never met Steven I myself at any Satsang or get together with Robert between 1989 in 1997.
My first question is, why did Strouth wait 35 years to bring this up? Strouth claims that he never thought of Robert as his group or teacher. What is his point? What does he want in making his claim?
Strouth stated that Robert claimed that Robert told him that he lived with Arthur Osborne near Ramana ashram, and that Arthur gave Robert a car to tour India as well as money.
Robert ever told me this. I have no idea if it's true or not. Robert did state to me that Osborne give him some money to travel around India, but never mentioned he lived with him or you received a car from him. Strouth quoted a letter from Osborne's daughter that she never met Robert and her father never gave Robert a car. I don't know whether this is true or not even. Seems to be a question of he said she said it many ways, including whether Robert ever made such a claim.
Most importantly, Strouth claims Robert was never a guru or teacher for him, yet implies he had a very close relationship with Robert for a period of time.
It's quite clear to me, that Strouth's knowledge of who Robert was, was very shallow. The Robert Strouth spoke about, certainly was not the Robert I knew. As a devotee of Robert, I saw his actions in entirely different light from the mundane level criticisms by Strouth. Everything Strouth says about Robert indicates an extreme bias against a spiritual point of view. I see everything that Robert did differently from the way Strouth saw his actions.
In the link below is a very short video presentation how I saw Robert, with a critique of Strouth's point of view.

90% of spiritual seekers are searching and practicing mistakenly, to solve developmental failures and resolve trauma. Meditation, self-inquiry, devotion, and studying Nisargadatta will not resolve an additction, major depression, borderline or narcisistic problems, and most everyone has some.
Spirituality has to do with obserrving and understanding, as well as controlling consciousness, from the coming and goings of the waking, sleep, and dream states, as well as God realization, Christ consciousness, and emptiness as content of the waking state. You learn everythonmg about consciousness, the states, impermanence, and how to stay in God consciousness or to consciously pass into Nothingness and the witness.
It not for emotional or behavioral problems embedded in the waking state and tensions in the body. It is not for relational problems. If your problem is alcoholism or severe depression, you need anti-depressants, mood stabilizers, individual and group psychotherapy, relaxation exercizes and therapies emphasizing freeing feeling in the body.
Two exception from this principle is that energy work, Shakti, Kundaleni, Tantra, and devotion can be used to access great energy and power that can assist in healing depression and even addictions. Also, Tantrics use emotion to create energies and integrate them into the sense of presence by a process I call eating emotions.

Deep inside each of us lies a portal, a doorway between existence and nonexistence, between experience and nothingness.
The experiential world as well as all of the categories of experience we call the self lie on the existential side of the portal. Some have called the various levels of existential self, the Self, distinguished from the world. Others claim that all levels of experience are the one self. Opposing this experiential side of life is the posited opposite of nonexistence otherwise known as the noumenal world, nothingness, the absolute, or the witness.
Through intense spiritual practices over many years such as self-inquiry, love and devotion, we can experience all levels of human and non-human, divine self, before encountering the portal. Instead of "levels of self" or "self experience," I refer to the different kinds of spiritual experiences encountered on the way through the depths of experience, as rooms within our inner spiritual mention, all of which have to be observed, identified with, and then discarded. We have to, for example, entered the room of emptiness a.k.a., the Void, identify with void, and then come to the recognition that the void is really not me.
This we have to do with all the rooms in that spiritual mansion, the room of emptiness, the rooms of joy and sorrow, anger and redemption, grace and condemnation, and salvation, the rooms of love, devotion, surrender, and finally of God realization and self-realization.
Here we have reached what appears to be full realization of the totality of life and death, existence and nonexistence, wherein God as the life force itself, sentience, is aware of itself and all of its aspects experiential and noumenal. We are completely at rest experiencing the constant underlying experience of ourselves as the manifest Self, and as God, as well as nothingness.
Once all of these experiences have been deeply experienced, added to our sense of self, we release ourself from that identification and are free to penetrate deeper levels. Depending upon where we start our spiritual journey, either with the discovery of the vast emptiness within, or with our discovery of God and the manifest self within, there comes a time when we exhaust the inner search and come face-to-face with the portal, the entrance to the absolute nonexistence, which could be called deep self, or when absorbed within, in complete rest as nothingness and eternity.
It is often said self cannot be found or observed by the self. This is both true and untrue. From the existential side of the portal, we are looking into the dark emptiness below that seems to be seething with activity, and we feel a powerful force pulling us toward the other side into our deeper self, addressing from objectivity to subjectivity. But peering into the portal from the existential side we are really looking for activities and powers instead of objects. We are looking into verbs, not nouns. We are looking into our ability to hear, see, smell, taste, touch, move, think, judge, surrender or exert will. What we "see," really intuit, are vast amounts unseen energies and powers that trickle up to the portal's surface of visibility, beckoning us to pass inside to the eternal.

Some have called this my most powerful Satsang ever, with great openenss and vulnerability. I speak of my almost suicidal loneliness as a child worsened by a crushing fear of death and disaster after the sudden death of my father when I was 14. These and other circumstances directed my spiritua lpath, each step similtaneously dealing with my human issues, as well as informing my spiritual eperiences, training, and understanding.
One need not be totally healed on an emotional level before benefitting from spirituality, nor will spirituality heal depression and fear. Both operate interdependently.
We becaome Buddhists or Advaitins when running away from emotioal disturbances embracing noself, emptiness, and nothingness, and we becomes Tantrics and humanists when we embrace them. But Tantra and energyspirituality more easily aids emotional maturation.

There are a few people on Facebook and elsewhere, that claim Robert Adams was a fraud, that he never met Ramana because there is no record of him ever being there, and no one present during the late 40s can remember him.
My response is that there is very little proof that Robert ever existed in life at all until he suddenly broke on the scene in Los Angeles in 1989. But this is the Robert I knew. He was very humble. Very quiet and self-effacing. He rarely spoke. If you entered a room with a dozen people, you may not even have noticed him.
Robert shunned attention in the spotlight. He was constantly deliberately losing students. He did things that ruffled their feathers and they left. His stated goal was to have 10 students in his life that got his message and could spread his message. 10 students who got enlightened and became teachers themselves. He was not interested in large numbers of people. He did not want to have an ashram. He told stories about leaving behind an ashram he created in New Mexico. He shunned Muktananda's invitation to become a swami.
He was shy and retiring. And I'll bet even in 1948 he was not an extrovert. He was not a people person. He did not live in the ashram, but around it. And when he told stories about his time in Ramana's ashram and with Ramana they were told with such detail and conviction I felt no doubt that he was telling the truth, especially about the time when he met Ramana on apath, took off all of his clothes. and prostrated himself before Romana. When he told that story, his eyes were filled with tears. He ended it by saying this is how you have to be with your teacher: humble, devoted, surrender, and he saidit almost shouting it as an essential truth.
Some even doubt Robert's stated awakening experience, saying it was only a mystical experience. That same person claimed that enlightened beings stop searching when they become enlightened, forgetting classically that there are many stages after awakening before approaching 'final enlightenment'.
Classically the Zen oxherding figures come to mind, 10 stages post awakening before your training is complete. The great Zen Master Joshu stated he had 17 great Satori and thousands of small ones. His Zen training took place over a period of 60 years before he finally settled as a teacher.
If I were asked if I remembered the many people that had came and gone at the international Buddhist meditation center in the early 1970s where I was a month for three years, I can't say that I remember any but a small number of people. People looking for evidence that Robert was at Ramana ashram in 1948 or 1949 50 years later would be hard to prove or find acceptible proof of his presence. This is more or less what I would expect.
Remember, Robert was like a ghost in his entire life. He left no footprint, and less than a dozen photos.
