Realizing the Manifest Self--the Life Force permeating our humanity--and the Unmanifest source from which it arises.
This was fucken awesome...The first half had me laughing and giggling, captivated by all of the mind bullshit. You are very entertaining Ed.And then it went deep, and I lost a little bit of captivation... Shows where I am.So timely this satsang:)..Love
I agree Ricky, it was...awesome. I have listened to it 5 times now and each time I have the feeling of being a child hiding in a corner being severely but lovingly rebuked. So very timely, so very raw and in your face. Much needed!Love,Joan
"Lovingly rebuked"Absolutely :)
this was awesome, finally someone who makes a fking sense on this planet ;Dlove love love to you Ed. You appeared in my dream and drove away some fears, that was awesome too ;D
I feel as though I've had my legs slapped.
Thankyou for this!
Very very profound and interesting.I'm touched by the mix between you Ed and the great Maharaj . It's One .I hope that there will be some other great talks like this... Many thanx and love Ed .
Dear Ed: Wholly given into this burning of the heart you mentioned...so beautiful a concept and this is a way of healing too! Others and self I sense this! Thank-you for your wisdom and grace! Namaste!
Dear Ed: About the burning of the heart. It is so synchronistic that I was just thinking and doing this to heal myself first, then others with energy that take our toxins and clear with this intent. I feel you have given me much wisdom today and thank-you for your love!Namaste!
Thank you for the satsang, Ed. Thanks for recording and posting, Joann. These are so powerful and much needed. yearning, burning, tears.
@ Rich. I share deeply in your yearning, burning and tears.Tears seem to be the way the ache in this heart soothes itself.Much Love,Joan
Thank you Joan for the kind words. It's a joyful yearning, isn't it? What a joy to be seeking and yearning for the thing that most deserves to be yearned for. The attention is finally pointed in the right direction, back toward itself!
Wonderful!i also reread progressive stages of meditation on emptiness..if one ignores the intellectualization, there's some really profound stuff in there..Thankyou again for the upload!
Yes progressive emptiness is revealed, but the experience is also colored by the underlying philosophy of what the experience means. Notice the author really has not experienced the final two states. His description is totally theoretical.Someone who does not have a guide likely not experience such a progression, but would experience different appearances of emptiness at different times.I like to ignore the conceptual descriptions as they create a student's experience. I don't want anyone tied to concepts, but rather to create their own paths, to have the courage to pursue their own truth, for in the end, that is what one must have.
Right sir!A little self critical awareness goes a long way in ensuring that we don't start projecting what we think is the truth by holding on to concepts. You've rightly cautioned us time and again against getting involved in abstractions.A little while ago i read something by Chuang Tzu which i'd like to share-Easy is right.Begin right, and you'll be easy.Continue easy and you are right. The right way to go easy is to forget the right way, and forget that the going is easy..
Into the unknowing and comfortable with it. When i started practicing with you "I" had so many questions, now "I" is being ignored. And its more peaceful that way.Isaac
