If you end identification with your body and mind as you, and thereby conclude that all that you know, experience, see, and feel is consciousness, and therefore YOU are not who you thought you were, but rather are a being of light, an appearance within your own consciousness, as is everyone else.
We are all consciousness, just consciousness.
We are all consciousness, just consciousness.
And since our primary sense, sight, which creates the appearance of the space, of each other, and of our bodies, we know we are nothing but light. Creatures of Light.
Ed forgive me,
ReplyDeleteHow can we say that; "we are the light it self", when even the greatest among men was only a witness to that Light?
Unless we above saint John the Baptist?
"There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light".
Dennis
Dennis the experience may come to you or not - I can tell you that it does come to one ready to receive it. Why and how it comes I cannot tell but it does when you wholeheartedly seek the Truth within you. The Light is brighter than the sun - and the experience reveals that you are That Light - a life changing experience whoever has gone through this. It blows away all your most cherished beliefs. "Though your sins be as scarlet they shall be as white as snow" This is exactly what happens when experienced for the first time. Remember what Jesus said, "Ye are the Light" isn't this a directive to discover the Light for ourselves?
